Exhaust

Hi,
We have a is fizzing sound coming from the exhaust, it tends to kick in at 3k revs , thought it was a blowing exhaust but had it checked out and he guy says that it is the flex which is fitted in the middle section making the noise but is fine and doesn't need changing , anyone else have this noise also ??????

sounds like a pin-hole somewhere in the system to me....or in the flexi itself. ours made some very odd noises before I replaced it. have you checked the intercooler and pipework to make sure its not sucking air?

sorry...meant BLOWING under turbo pressure (assuming its a diesel?).

Just an update finally found the hissing problem when the turbo pipe finally blew off must have been loose
