Hi All does any one have one of these fitted for there liesure battery or if not do they know if it would work.

No it's crap. I fitted one and it kept blowing fuses. Trouble is the loading is too low. If your leisure battery is low in charge it tries to draw more charge from the alternator and bang goes the fuse. I uprated the relay and wiring to a more heftier spec and now the 'current' spec is 'amp'le.

I ordered one of these and they sent me something else that serves the same purpose, when I queried this with them they said they supply whatever is in stock. Not a good way of treating your customers.

They work OK as long as you use them to switch a heavy duty relay, don't use it on it's own or it will probably burn out. There has been considerable discussion of these on the forum so do a search before investing in one.

I find that one advertised does the job - the orange version they sometimes send (think it's called Autocom) is crap.................
