leisure battery
Hi all, I have the original mazda bongo kitchen pod and need to know what correct size leisure battery I need as ive always used a old car battery untill now, thought its about time I got one, can anyone please help, also I still have to batteries under my bonnett do I need both or can I take one away ive always replaced two but have been told the second one is rely there for colder weathers like in japan and ive wasted my money on this second battety any help much appreciated
Re: leisure battety
You may have a Winter Pack Bongo, or someone may have fitted a leisure battery under the bonnet.
Do you have a switch with a little engine symbol down by your right knee? This is a Winter model.
If so it will be best to replace the batteries as a pair.
If you have a leisure battery (rather than winter pack) you may not need another LB in the kitchen pod. As for size it's just down to what will fit, a visit to a supplier should sort this.

Translated manual in the member area but it doesn't have any info about battery type: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... itchen.pdf
You could remove the battery from the unit and take it into somewhere like Motaman in Brown Street, or whatever they're called these days. They used to have a wide range of batteries in stock.
