When it becomes real, you can bet Stuc will have it first. Can't wait. And if you power it from the leisure battery the car needn't turn back to white when it's parked ;-)

Gutted, I bet it won't be long though you can already get this stuff. Check out some of the videos, the bike stuff is very nice.

Hi
There are paints that change colour. House Of Kolor do a Kamelion brand that are around $400.00 a pint...I have the colour chips somewhere, but haven't ventured to use any yet. I do , however have the top half of the Bongo done in holographic colour interchange metal-flake that changes from red to blue depending on viewing angle, and the bottom half is a mix of chrome and gunmetal metalflake. Maybe more "tricks" next year
Cheers

I'm more conservative than that. Could I get one that changes colour through the range of National Trust matt greens and greys depending in the seasons of the year?

No? Oh well, I'll fetch me Barbour jacket and green wellies.

I am aware of and have painted chameleon and chromaflair colours but I'm not a big fan. I do like to see it but not on my own van. I would still like to do something different on mine but have no idea what. I will know it when I see it.

Thanks Helen, quite a few have said leave it, so I think I will--for the minute anyway, you know how it is.

Hi,

There is an alternative to fancy paint - airbrushing.

Many years ago I had a Reliant Scimitar SE5 (the one with the Kent v6) in white and I knew somebody who was trying to make his way in custom painting.
I bought him a book of the Tales of the Arabian Nights and over a period of months he translated the stories into murals that were real works of art.

I used this car as a daily driver for quite some time as well as showing it, and this prompts the obvious question. The answer is no, it was never keyed or damaged in any way whilst parked. However I could leave it for a matter of minutes and it would be absolutely covered in fingerprints.

You do indeed have to contact the DVLA if you change the colour. If the colour changes colour not sure which colour you would list?

Hi
Oh, boy, I love murals on cars....I had the offer of an old hearse, and I was going for murals showing Dracula arising from his coffin , and the front was going to be chopped so the driver's section was open...Unfortunately, customising a Type2 got in the way for over 4 years  ....nevertheless, I'd absolutely love a motorhome with a decent mural....The Huns classic defeat of the Roman army!...or the First Battle of Bull Run....There used to be some very Kool cars around in the 60s!...lots of cars with decent artwork!....time for a revival, methinks! Funnily enough, I saw a very respectable mural on a Peugeot over here a few months back!...nice finish, too!....very surprising in a country that thinks art is a picture of Stalin, and a sculpture is a concrete cube
Cheers
