replacing headlight bulb

Hi All

My front driver side headlight bulb has stopped working I cannot find any instruction in the manual on how to change it can anyone help please.

according to my registration document it is 1997

This is from the club fact sheet in the member's area of the main website:

This is rather fiddly as the battery makes it difficult to get at the driver side cluster. Practise on the other headlight to see what you are up against and you will be able to do the other one by feel. The recommended bulbs are Halogen 55 or 60W.

There are two tabs on the rubber boot that covers the back of the headlight. Pull on these and you will see a spring which clips the bulb in. Unclip it and the rest is easier to do than describe. Notice that the rubber boot has TOP written in English! Respect this when putting back or you may get jets landing on you.

unbolt the headlight after removing the grill etc, its easier.
