November/December meet?
Re: November/December meet?
The cafe at Lochearnhead with the water sports might let us use their car park. They had a fire last year and I don't know if it re-opened. Handy for the pub, Glen Ogle walks and mountain biking. Foot/cycling path back to Strathyre I think.
Freda now gone, :-/ But nice wee Burstner obtained

I'm up for something - hard to plan anything much too far in advance these days...
I'll keep popping in. Can anyone propose a date?

The cafe at Lochearnhead is very much closed and still a burnt out shell.clutha wrote:The cafe at Lochearnhead with the water sports might let us use their car park. That's a shame, a good stopping place when out on the bike

Mind you it would not have taken much for it to go up in flames. There was a wee fire in the kitchen one time we were there Bit scary. I am surprised it has not been cleared. Maybe the insurance is not paying out
Re: November/December meet?
That's bad.
I was there a couple of times after it changed ownership, Dutch man with Scottish wife and his parents were involved too.
It was so popular with youngsters learning to waterski, and so nice to sit out on a sunny day after a blast up from Callander.
