Heated rear windscreen fault - Anyone else had similar?

Hi all
My heated rear window has stopped working, all fuses have been checked and the rest of the heater control unit works fine. However I have no indicator light coming on when pressing the button on the unit. I have checked the wiring from the vehicle body and through to the rear door. I do not have the wiring cd in my mitts. Just wondering if the fault lies in the heating control unit before pulling it all out?. Bit of a bind cos it's frosty here.

Have You checked the connections actually in the back window down the sides I think there are 2 one on either side maybe ones come off.
