Shortly to become a bonggone
Well the the time has come to part company with our beloved Billy.we have loved every minute of the last 6 years and have some great memory's.this forum and club has been absolutely brilliant and would still like to stay around.but Billy is getting tired so have decided to change.in 4 weeks we will be getting a Toyota Regius 4x4 2.7 petrol (land cruiser lump and gear box) with side conversion and manual roof( no more pressing a button) and a 6' Rock and roll bed.
Would of gone for another bongo but liked a bit more room, cab to rear walk through, standing room at end of the bed to name a few points.but can honestly say it will be heart breaking when Billy goes.
So hopefully it's not goodbye,I shall still wave like mad and hope you all wave back.would love to still attend some meets work permitting and still enjoy the forums. Thank you for all the help and support over the last 6 years and hope and wish all of you a very happy bongo future. Carry on camping.

Take care you two and enjoy the Regius. Once a Bongolier always a Bongolier so you'll always be welcome. Where did you get the Regius from?

Aha yes he seems to be a good guy to buy from. Am i right in saying the Regius is a little slimmer than the Granvia? I'd love to see pics if you felt inclined to post themkingbillybongo wrote:Andys imports near Norwich, where we got Billy from.thanks and we will stay aroundmikeonb4c wrote:Take care you two and enjoy the Regius. All the best with your new van, although King Billy Regis does not have the same ring to it.

Give us a shout Campbell if you and Aileen are up in Scotland east or west, for a few beers and a bleather about bongone days.
