I am a proud new owner of a 96 V6 Bongo and while exploring all the features I noticed these rings bolted to the nearside roof hiding under the AFT. They are only on the one side and look quite factory fitted.
See picture link.
Any ideas?

We've hung and tied all sorts from those, never realised what they were for! Good for washing lines onsite!

That's great, thanks for the responses. Now I know.

We used to use those to fasten our Royal traveller awning to using spring clamps....quicker and easier than figure of eights and if done well does a good job....

I agree pole in front of some and behind the others. Then a couple of spring clamps, one on each end and it won't move. Much better and easier than the figure of 8.alant54 wrote:We used to use those to fasten our Royal traveller awning to using spring clamps....quicker and easier than figure of eights and if done well does a good job....![]()
