Visual Performance Plasma Dials

Post by frogmanjim » Tue Jun 21, 2016 1:23 pm

Hi Everyone,

We are new Bongonauts in need of guidance from the Bongo community - please go easy :)

We picked up Basil a couple of weeks ago (1999 2.5 v6) and have been really pleased so far. She's unconverted (with AFT) and we plan to hopefully have her converted later this summer.

There's a number of little jobs that need doing, first of which was to fit new dials as the speedo is still reads Kmh. Have seen photos and liked the kit from visual performance, which I have now ordered (hopefully arriving Friday)

Has anyone fitted these and can let me know any tips? Guy I spoke to a VPD mentioned there was a video somewhere on the forum, which I can't seem to find. I'm not particularly experienced in these areas.
Or is anyone in the Portsmouth/Southampton are has fitted these previously and could assist? Much beer would be provided :-)

Cheers
James
