Post by cushers » Thu Jun 30, 2016 8:32 pm

Hi
Venturing off the rock (Isle of Man) to Northern Ireland this summer. Any experience / advice to give for breakdown cover? Ferries will be involved.

TIA

Breakdown cover for a ferry is called a tug.

I'll get me coat.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Normal AA breakdown cover covers you for Northern Ireland, If you are venturing into the Republic of Ireland you need a European extension added to your policy. Just make sure you have the relay/national recovery option to get the vehicle back home if it cant be fixed at the roadside.
