Advice on selling needed

Post by Tickleontour » Mon Jul 18, 2016 8:21 pm

:?:
I am thinking of selling my Bongo Camper. It's 1996 free top 4WD 170000km.
Side fridge/stove/sink/4 seatbelts/electric etc
To include awning and all other camping essentials.
1 rusty wheel arch.

What price do people think I should try selling my little beast for ?

All advice welcome

Much love

Please see Ian's guidelines: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2049#p11668
"Don't ask for an opinion on "What Is My Vehicle Worth?". Just have a look at the For Sale page or Autotrader, there's plenty of examples. And don't link to eBay ads, even if it's not your vehicle for sale. We have seen too many forums degenerate into a sales-fest and we don't want it happening here."

Good Luck.

Its difficult as often the prices vary vastly, just keep an eye on what others actually sell for.
It could be anywhere between £1000 and 5000, its all down to how it looks and runs, I have heard a few tails of woe recently of people buying Bongos for top money but not checking them over so if yours is perfect point out why.
EG if I was selling mine I would point out the following
New radiator and coolant, cam belt, alloys, Rust proofed not rotten, rear kitchen, Hayden TM2 temp gauge and coolant alarm, you need to say why its the one to buy.
All too often we see a gleaming Bongo with cooling issues and rust so offer a proper test drive I drove mine for 20 mins or so and started it from stone cold to prove it had no issues
