Another Year

Post by mellon man » Sat Aug 27, 2016 7:53 pm

Another year Another MOT
Yet again the old girl passed with no advisories
But the garage did mention the rust in sills. I have cleaned them off one hole in both sides of the rear part of the outer sills ns
and one the middle of the near side inner sill.
Any advice for what's the best way to tackle rust and stop it spreading ?

I've been getting that kind of stuff sorted on mine. It's a good feeling getting it back to sound metal. Have a search for 'rust' on here for discussions. Will need some £s and a good old school welder but should all be sortable with luck.
