Hi,

K&N do list a filter for the Bongo Friendee on their web site. Supposedly it should improve performance but does cost about £45.

K&N air filters= Snake oil in my opinion, induction kits may have an improving factor but swopping out an OE air filter for a K&N nah.
Save your money and just stick a new air filter in.

Didn't notice a difference

I did notice a difference when I fitted one in my defender
Deff quicker throttle response in that diesel

Tim
If you want to see if there is a difference in performance just take out the old one and leave it out then take it for a drive. You may hear a difference in induction noise but you will feel no difference in reality performance wise.
