looking to buy Bongo things I have seen

I have been looking at a few bongos and would appreciate some of your thoughts based on the vast experience on here. these are a few of the things I have seen that I would like your opnion on, in terms of is it an issue? does it need fixing and how much will it cost?:

- front bumper where it fits to the strut that fixes it to the frame in wheel arch is snapped. looks like this corner of van has had a bump as the plastic that attaches to the strutt is snapped and the front light is a not in line with the wing. I have photos if people want to see them I can send them on.(Am I right in thinking I cant upload them here in this forum?) so the questions.. Is the broken strutt an issue? if so how much to fix? does it mean replacing the full bumper?

- the slight damage to front wing mentioned above. means the front light is not fully lined with wing. the vehicle has passed its MOT since this damage was done. there is a bit of filler used to fill the dent in same area (bit messily done) The light misalignment is not obvious so I am not too worried cosmetically but could it cause issues with water ingress into the frame/light and cause corrosion? or any other knock ons?

- plastic trim around rear wheel arch. one of these has come away from the wing leaving a ~3mm gap. do these trim come as standard on V reg V6 vehicles? or have they been put on to pimp up/protect bongo post factory? Looking behind the trim the wheel arch looks solid so its not there to hide corrosion. IS it easy enough to push/fix it back on? or are they of no value so better to take off completely?

- the bumpers are all pretty scratched and scuffed. Are they cheap enough to fill or find replacements for?

- The vehicle was waxoyled on inport, however I cant see any sign of the waxoyl on the vehicle. is it recommended to have it redone? PS the japanese export documents show a 3.5 grade. and its passed all MOTs with no advisorys since import.

Hi
I snapped the bolts in my front bumper struts I have never replaced them, they would have been snapped when it had a front end bump

That's what would make me nervous the front end bump
Has it bent knocked the front end out of line
Recent mot might have been done by a friend
How do you know damage was done before its mot

As you say rear wheel arch spats are usually put on to hide rust or a bad repair job , there not factory fitted

Yes re waxoyl every year or two

Scuffed bumpers it's probaly from a city being parked on the road with people catching the bumper when parking infront or behind
I have to park on the road and mine gets its bumper scuffed and rear light cracked by idiots parking in front and behind it on the road
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.
