If you mean the lights by the rear view they come on when door is opened and then go off when close

As a mater of interest does the reversing lights work as the should and do you have a tow bar fitted.

Yes rear lights and reverse lights work fine when fuse not blown.

I do have a tow bar fitted and did ask auto electrician if this could be a source of the problem as it's has been mentioned on other threads but he assured me it does not have a reverse light feed apparently.
