Roof Top Tent on my Bongo
Few posts on here about RTTs on a Bongo but I could not find many pics and I have been mulling over options for a fair old while, here is mine for reference. Wanted a tin top for height and discrete wild camps so the RTT made sense as it can be removed probably over Winter.
It is a lightweight hard top version around 50Kg, have not slept in it as yet but we had a nice afternoon down near a local river; having a lounge-diner set up and then a separate bedroom/'tree house' is cool, views out of all 4 windows, 2 door/windows have canopies for sun/rain. Looking forward to some adventures in it.

I've seen Russ & Sarah's RTT. It's a superb job.
Nice convo - only one I've seen quite like it

Nice to see photos, thanks! We are thinking of a roof top tent for our tin top instead of getting it converted. What is the first one, please? I think the second is ikamper, is that right?
One thing I need to find out is whether we can get a different awning set up as our slides into tracks along the roof edges where the roof racks would fit. Do you have awnings? If so how do they attach? Thanks!
