roof problem

Post by NicknLiz » Fri Feb 23, 2007 12:09 pm

Yes, yes I know, two posts in a row...

The only other problem (that I've found) with my nice shiney new frieda is that the drivers side runner that's attached to the roof, holding the nice tent part, has been pulled out of the palstic housing, the screw is in a small plastic bit, but that part has come wholesale from a little hold in the roof... I managed to locktite one back in place, which has been fine, but there's two others that were less cooperative...

Any ideas?

There has been a thread on this fairly recently.

I used superglue, seems to be OK after several months Image

Ohhh.... If superglue's the treatment of choice, I'll just shove it harder and glue it!

I could not get glue to stick mine back in but in the end made some little brackets and selftapped them on, will post a picture when I have the roof up again
