Replacement seatbelts

Post by Pault » Fri Jan 13, 2023 11:59 am

The front passenger seatbelt in my van keeps sticking. I’ve read that this is fairly common with Bongos and replacement is the only option.
I ordered a replacement from a spares site and it was actually worse than the one currently fitted!

Has anyone ever fitted one of the universal belts advertised online? Or know of an alternative I can buy new which will fit? It’s the newer shape Bongo if that makes a difference.
Thanks

Can't say I can remember anyone ever mentioning the problem, was it a Bongo site that sent the faulty one ?
These companies do a range of spares, not all will have everything so try them all;

Bongo Land https://bongoland.co.uk/shop/

Mazda Bongo https://mazdabongo.com/

Bongo Spares http://www.bongospares.co.uk/

Vosper Parts https://parts.vospers.com/

Auto Jap Spares https://www.autojapspares.com/

AutoLinkUK https://www.autolinkmx5.com/

Or there are some specific Bongo Breakers around now as well.
