After reading all the threads about overheating and the complicated cooling system I decided to give mine a good look over. All looks ok apart from the two hoses to the front heater where there is a white crusty substance around the hoses. So is this the start of a leak?

  Thanks phil

Pete just monitor as you are doing, these overheating threads do cause concern, but the plus side is that members are made aware of correct coolant quality, levels etc, do a coolant change every 2 years, bleed the system, replace jaded hoses and caps as need arises and you will be fine
