hi all just bought set of 16" mazda 6 alloys off ebay for my bongo they have 205 /55 /16 with v speed rating 149mph
can anyone who is running 16" alloys please tell me what size tyres i should be running if i cant use these ones :-k
ps i hope these wheels will fit my bongo as i never thought of finding out before buyin them [-o<

Well if you get to 149 m.p.h on them tyres and at a sensible m.p.h let us know :wink:

But the best commercial site I've seen for tyre specs. & sizes is this-

Those 205/55 x16 tyres are 4.3% smaller than standard, i.e. you are lowering your gearing (Bongo will rev higher at a particular speed), and the speedo will read fast.

225/55 x16 would appear to be the closest match, only 1% out.

Use http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to try various width/aspect ratios for yourself.

Oh, and check the load rating on those tyres -you need at least 96, I think on a Bongo.
