But is it necessary for the oil vapour to be sucked through the system in the first place? if a catch tank is fitted in the pipeline (preferably not like the one shown above, but an enclosed one to maintain the vacuum, without an external filter - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0257581302) to catch the oil, it should reduce/elliminate the oily stains at the inlet manifold, especially if the egr is blanked as well?
