Still no news from Mazda - tried the local main dealer on Monday and still no news today. The garage have tried Mazda too. No joy. Any other ideas?

If none of the usual suspects can help eg, Bellhill, Bongobits, Ava, Wheelquick, Allans, etc with new or secondhand parts, maybe worth searching for one being broken? doubt there'll be many, but if none of the usual suspects have got any, then worth doing some of the online car parts searches maybe? eg breakeryard.com, 247spares.co.uk, etc, google "car parts search" or similar, should come up with a load of options.

Failing that, can the existing pipes be repaired or the offending part/s cut out & replaced with a bit of hose or something? At the end of the day, it is just a bit of pipe

at the end of the day its just a metal tube, take it off your bongo and take to a local fabricating/welding shop and ask them to either repair yours kind of like you would patch an exhaust, depends where its gone though, or im sure a good fabricator will be able to make an exact copy of it, you could even get it done in stainless so it wont rust away again.

just get the yellow pages out and go and visit them with offending pipe
