Nothing like what should have got done. I did manage to squeeze a bit of sightseeing into the busy schedule though

It was spooky trundling up through Sutherland and Caithness, listening to Radio 4 and the extended shipping forecast with the all-important climatic conditions at Machrihanish Point, followed by the National Anthem :D

I thought that your real job was writting cookery books Paul, particularly bbq books. I have always been suspicious about all the time that you spend trying out new bbq recipies at every Bongo meet. :-k

Bums - I've been rumbled. And the real reason for going to Dounreay was that the livestock is already cooked when you start

Great to see you on here again Anna. I'm still hanging around here, for want of having anything better to do    Just about everything in my life is changing, except the Bongo. No plans to change that [-X Might even spend a bit giving it some TLC, plus getting down your way to fly with my old mates at Oxford Gliding Club. I won't try and fly the Bongo, just use it for camping about in    8)

Hi Mike...
There are some deliciously wonderful moments to be had when you're old and you've been let out in public....others do the checking for you to make sure you're not misbehaving!...They know that us oldies have a wonderful talent in the ability to embarrass others and smile prettily like nothing's happened      Taking your teeth out and putting them on a table in a restaurant causes excruciating embarrassment to others....but, by golly, you get more elbow room....so...when in polite company like wot we 'ave on this 'ere Forum, I do check
Cheers
Helen
