I think I agree (back Alright) is a bit of a clue really?

Was going to do the headlining in my freda, can i ask what kind of material did you use to cover yours? I guess it would have to be something with a fair bit of stretch to it?

I just sprayed glue over the original rear headlining and it worked (front one I coated in fibreglass resin - but this is not really required).

Sorry for the lack of photo's but I need to take some during the day and will do so this weekend (pics at night on my iphone are cr*p).

I need to grind a few bits off the Mazda frame to get the Alfa seat pads to fit and then I'll be covering all the foam to try and make it look good.

Thanks for that I did try it with some other faux suede type fabric I had but wasn't stretchy enough

Just need to finish the rear seat and I'm going to make a small o/s rear unit in ply for my camping stove and coolbox.

Bought a kitchen unit in light walnut with smev 9222 and table top. Top quality and good price!

Almost finished rear seat, just need to buy some more glue to finish it.

After looking into a wrapping and then a respray I have opted to roller paint the van!

The link below has all the "How To" details and I'm going for RAL6011 light olive green with white AFT and some other white details.
I have ordered the paint £100 ish for 5ltrs of green and 2.5 of white. I decided on this option as it is cost effective, I can do it myself when it gets warmer (will do the doors, bumpers etc asap as I can unbolt and paint them inside), and you can achieve a good finish if you put the effort in.

I quite like the idea of roller painting. I once painted an old post office van from chucky yellow to bright blue using a roller and Tekaloid paint which was then known as bus paint. The beauty of it is that this paint applies quite thickly and can be machine buffed to correct the flaws.

If I had an older van with a bit rust, I would consider tackling the rust first then roller painting. Cheap and cheerful

Love the idea of rollering, and have been using tricks like that for years in other applicatons. But I've no idea how I'd manage to do a neat green metallic paint as per the original colour, so not an option for me sadly when the time comes. Unless I decide to go for a plain colour scheme. Hmmmmm.

Yup, I'd pretty much worked that out, although never say never, as who'd have thought you might roller a car. I'm following your project with interest and good luck with it - great work so far.

Very interesting - those T25 seem to suffer with rust on the seams quite a bit and the CombiColor and Vacar rust treatment look to have done the job for no money.

Particularly interesting to me as I could quite happily slap that on with a brush to the underside of my Bongo and care not about the finish.
