Hello from Huddersfield

Post by Wendywoo » Sat May 31, 2008 7:34 pm

Hi

We went camping last weekend and there were two Bongos parked near our tent. I thought they looked brilliant and went over to check them out. One had been bought unconverted and the owner had then taken it to a company who did a full side conversion, the other was not converted at all.

Since coming home I have spent hours in the tinterweb looking at Bongos in all different guises.

We decided to go out today and "just have a look at some" - you know what is coming next I'm sure! Yes we bought one. It was from a very reputable dealer in Mirfield so I feel confident that I have made a good choice.

It has no conversion and what I plan to do is get an awning and use it as is for this year until I know exactly what I want and find a good company to do it for me.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Hi Wendywoo - and snap! - my Bongo is unconverted too and I've done the same thing - bought an awning to see how I find it as it is for now

Look forward to swapping stories as we get out there in the Bongo World! I've had mine a couple of years now but its not been christened camping in it yet, poor things just been doing day to day boring stuff so far

Thanks for all your kind words. If I get it in time we are going to have a ride to York on Friday evening to give it a run out. Hope to meet some of you there.
