I have no Horn!!!
My horn has stopped working, I have checked the wires they seem fine and checked the fuses. Anybody know which fuse is for the horn?

Re: I have no Horn!!!
On models up to Sep 2001, it's a red 10amp one, 5th from the left on the top row of interior fuses. Edward had a similar problem recently, so if replacing the fuse doesn't fix it, have a look at his post: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =horn+fuse

Re: I have no Horn!!!
unfortunatly i still have no horn, i think that when i removed the washer bottle i've knocked a wire connection, as i have a loose blue wire connected to the horn wiring with the other end hanging lose and it looks as if it has broken off somewhere. I have after market twin horns and i'm hoping that one of the Bongos attending the Looe bash has the same type of horns as mine, so as i can compare wiring

Have you tried putting 12v directly onto the horn this would prove the horn one way or tother?Jolly Rogers wrote:Cheers for the speedy response. Changed the fuse still no horn.Defo not the fuse must be a loose connection somewhere

Re: I have no Horn!!!
Have managed to trace a break in the cable
Hopefully that's causing the problem. Will try and fix at the weekend.
Re: I have no Horn!!!
Can you here the relay click when you press the horn button?

No click can be heard
Re: I have no Horn!!!
This is a simple wiring circuit of a horn installation, might help.Jolly Rogers wrote:No click can be heard
Is the break between the button and the relay?
On the Bongo the circuit is not powered through the ignition switch and the fuses are not shown.

It is just by the horn.
Re: I have no Horn!!!
The relay should click even if the horn is not working, Check all the earth cables the horn one first.
A test between an earth point and the horn feed cable with the horn disconnected with a meter/lamp will tell if the relay is working and the cable from the relay is ok.
