Although you may be a user of this forum (which is a free service), this does not mean that you are able to access the members-only area of the main website. The members-only area is for paid up members of the Bongo Fury club, and it is there that you can access over 100 fact sheets on a variety of topics, plus details of forthcoming events, and lots of other stuff too. You can join the club by clicking the blue bongo top left of this screen.
The members-only area is password protected. Everyone has the same user name and the password usually changes on the 6th of every month. The latest password is sent to all members in an email update.
These email are sent from either of the following the addresses (we use both to try and keep the "spam" count down):
info@bongofury.org.uk.
ian@bongofury.org
Also, if you are not receiving Forum notifications, add ian@igmaynard.co.uk to the list.
Please add them to your safe senders list.
If you do not receive these updates, and assuming that your membership has not lapsed, then it is likely that the emails are being caught by spam filters somewhere along the line. This could happen at your service provider's server, or it could happen at your webmail account, or it could happen at your PC. So check your "trash" to see if the email is there, and then add us to your safe senders list.
If you STILL do not receive the updates, and need the password in a hurry, then send a text including your membership number and/or home postcode to 07932-844321. We will send the password by return.
Sometimes when attempting to access the members area you will be shown an "unauthorised access" message. If you HAVE received the username/password but still can't get in, then it may be a security issue with the browser you have installed on your computer. Follow these steps to rectify the problem:
1) The website address www.bongofury.co.uk actually redirects you to the real website address, which is www.igmaynard.co.uk. Try logging on using this route instead.
2) If that doesn’t work then you may need to clear the cache on your PC. See the instructions at http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
3) If you still can’t get in then it may be that you have pop-ups blocked on your browser. Or you may need to adjust your security settings. See this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Adjust-Browser-Settings
