BrokersWED Meet (Near Westbury, Wiltshire) 27/28/29th March

Post by boyfrombrasil » Tue Jan 20, 2009 2:26 pm

Updated 08th March 09

This years Brokerswood meet will be held on the weekend of 27/28/29th March and has been booked accordingly.

Details of the site can be found here http://www.brokerswood.co.uk

Details/reviews of last years meet can be found here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 35&t=17460

The cost of the weekend per van is £27 which includes electric hook-up on hardstanding pitches, space for awnings/caravan/extra car and the hire of the nice new party hall for the Saturday evening get together (dogs are supposed to be £1 per night but we will take that as it comes).

If you are interested please put your name here or pm me and I will be in contact. Some people who have already been in contact will be aware of some of the details and will not need to re-apply for a place.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come basis.

Many thanks

It's mine and Susie's "Fian'niversary" today for those that remember Brokerswood last year. Many thanks for that night, that weekend and your subsequent support in what sometimes have been difficult times.

Things as you know have moved on since then and we are looking forward to your company at this years Brokerswed. Obviously Brokerswood won't change their signs at the entrance but we can dream....

For those of you who don't know already, Boyfrombrasil is getting married to Susie (who becomes Mrs Boyfrombrasil) on Friday 27th March in Bath and our honeymoon will be spent at Brokerswood among the many friends we have made over the last 12 months. We promise not to keep you awake etc because as I am told when we are married all of the fun will stop...

On Saturday evening we have for our use, the new function room and we would like to ask everyone to bring a plate of nibbles ala an "American Supper". Any excuse for a party.... and Bob Parr, cardboard food doesn't count!!!!!! :D Paper Plates are ok though.

Transport has been booked to Bath for the Friday afternoon for those of you who are attending the ceremony and we will be in contact individually about the details of this later this week. There will be security patrols around the site whilst the majority of campers are missing for the ceremony.

If anyone has any questions or queries or problems please PM us and we will do our best to produce an answer :?

And if there are still Bongo owners who want to come join the weekend then feel free to ask about available spaces.

Many thanks

Paul and Susie

The stuffed animals are not in the new log cabin that has been built especially for us....

Looks like Saturday evening won't turn into a dogs dinner after all :D

And as it's a log cabin we might have to hide the matches from Kirsty

Hi!

Jo and I look forward to seeing you both and would like to book for both nights with EHU. Does someone need to bring a drum kit to go with the log cabin :?: :?:
