Would you like ice with that? Tan Hill Inn defies winter's blast

Landlady Tracy Daly shows there is no need to order from the 'extra cold' pumps when supping a pint at Britain's highest pub, the Tan Hill Inn.
She has kept her pub, near the hamlet of Keld in North Yorkshire, open despite several feet of drifting snow and closed roads all this week. Hardy customers have managed to reach the pub, some arriving on skis. Ms Daly herself needed rescuing by Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue Service after her car became stuck as she tried to drive bar staff home.
