Magic petrol gauge

Post by Mack » Fri Jul 03, 2009 10:16 am

I asked for advice a while back regarding my tank showing empty whilst nearly full. You kind people advised to check and fix the earth wire on sensor, which I never got around to doing. Low and behold a miracle has happened and my blessed petrol gauge has started working again - the power of cursing and prayer, brothers and sisters!

A wet connection sometimes passes current better, that's why you shouldn't work electrical appliances with wet hands.
