Can anyone tell me where the senders are located for the scavenger fan and cooling fan.
Also,i`ve noticed that sometimes.after a run,if i switch off,wait a minute,then turn the ignition on,the scavenger fan cuts in.
I would have thought the fan would be better wired up with a direct live.
What do you think?.
Thanks

The scavenger fan cuts in when the engine is hot, so after a run, when you stop no air is circulating around the engine so the scavenger fan comes on to cool the engine. don't send a direct feed to the fans because the sender unit may not work with a full 12volt feed,

I've had a direct (switch and fused) feed on mine for some time with no ill effects :D

Radiator fan.....

The broken component (little bit of white wire sticking out) on the drivers side screwed to the head. In this case the rad fans would be constantly on as soon as the key was turned.

If you find this connection and disconnect it with ignition on (AFAIK) you will find that the rad fans will come on.

Disconnecting of the scavanger fan sensor (plug beside handbrake) whilst engine running /ignition on? will start the fans on a timed run.
