West Of Scotland Day Meet.

Hi everyone

Some of us up here in Scotland are trying to get together for a day meet.

Plans are for Sunday the 23rd August in Irvine Ayrshire. We plan to meet at he Harbourside area close to the Magnum Leisure Centre (Post code KA12 8PP). There is a beach park to walk dogs or for kids to play in, or a lovely beach to wander along. There are plenty of nice pubs and eating places to serve what a bongo may not!

The Magnum offers various sporting activites, swimming skating badminton squash bowls etc.

Would be great to meet everyone and exchange bongo tales.

HI IM NEW THIS MORN I CANT COME TO SCOTLAND AS IM GOING TO MONTPELLIER IN 2 WKS BUT I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN YOU NXT YEAR!

I DONT KNOW HOW THIS FORUM WORKS OR WHICH SECTION TO POST WHAT. IVE POSTED SOME MUCH NEEDED QUESTIONS IN THE SECTION ABOUT TYRES AND I FOUND A MASON ALARM POST SO I ADDED A REPLY AND A QUESTION TO THAT TOO.

HOW DO I READ THE REPLIES SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE TO MY QUESTIONS, AND WHY ISANT MY QUESTIONS ON THE UNANSWERED POSTS PAGE?

YOU WAS THE ONLY ONE I FOUND ONLINE!

AS YOU CAN SEE I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE FORUMS YET!

I am new to this too. I just check where I left my questions to see if anyone replies to anything. Hope you have a great trip to Montpellier, r u going in your bongo?

This will be our first day meet, although we did drop into the Scottish Bongo Bash in may and learned so much from everyone!

YES IM GOING IN MY BONGO WITH 5 OF MY 6 KIDS AGED 27-18YRS. AND A LOADED DOWN ROOFBOX!

IM BEING VERY BRAVE AS I WENT IN 2002 TO CHAMONIX IN A TOYOTA HIACE VAN, WITH SED KIDS 6. A TRAILER AND ROOF BOX, AND THE ENGINE OVER HEATED, AND CRACKED THE HEAD SO THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE RECOVERED HOME THEN SCRAPPED!

GOOD THING I ALWAYS HAVE RAC COVER. THEY GAVE US A VAN FOR THE REST OF OUR HOLIDAYS.

I JUST SPENT £540 ON A NEW RAD, HOSES, SPRING ASSISTERS, FIXING LEAKY WHEEL HUB. OUCH!!!!!!!!!:(

IVE POSTED SOME QUESTIONS I DESPERATELY NEED ANSWERING TO, ON THE TYRES AND MASON ALARM POSTS I FOUND. SO IF YOU KNOW HOW TO LOOK THEM UP AND HAVE A REPLY THEN. I WOULD BE GREATFUL FOR SOME HELP.

IVE HAD MY BONGO FOR 2.5 YRS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ITS REALLY BEEN THIS SICK, IT HAS HAD SOME COLDS BUT ONLY SHORT LIVED ONES!!!!!:)
