Time to start thinking about this meeting I reckon. I have been looking at ferry crossings, and this seems to be the best one for us in terms of timings, but VERY expensive.

Stena Line. Depart Holyhead 1000 on Thu 22 July, arrive Dun Laoghaire 1159.
Return Sunday 25 July Dun Laoghaire 1315, arrive Holyhead 1514.

2 adults, 1 Bongo, no trailer = £299 return!

Went 3 times in 2006,with the Bongo.Holyhead to Dunthingy and Dublin.

Booked via the caravan and camping club, cant remember how much now but NOWHERE near that amount, may be worth a phone call if youre a member.

Try Billy Nutt travel he has consistantly suprised me with good prices, way better than online at the ferry companies

Because people need to make travel arrangements well in advance, we have decided to allow booking for this event immediately. You can book online or by phone, and full details can be found here:

Assuming an affordable crossing can be found, we're in - fits nicely with school holidays too!

Thought I'd bump this - anyone any tips on reasonable prices from Hollyhead or Stranraer?
