Hi Guy's,
Anyone know how to get the corner marker to work

I think mine is disconnected as the switch does'nt work with engine on, lights on or any combination?? Think it might be a fuse but god knows which one. lol.

mine has never worked - they have been discussed on here before some peeps think they might be disconected or that the motors might have seized. I messed about with mine for a long time then gave up as I manage to park without it.

Be nice to everyone they might be nice back.

Motor in the corner marker?? Que?
You mean the parking pole thing on the NS bumper corner? If so mine comes on with the sidelights, just the illuminated green tip.

Ours works too, but the light is very small and it was a while before we realised that it came on with the lights

Nope, mine hasn't. loads haven't, I don't think you're missing out on much personally

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Corner marker?
Isnt that the point on a race track before you turn in to hit the apex at the correct point with a given optimum speed.
If you take your bongo to mallory - watch out for gerrards bend, I could see it rolling over there. Aim for to turn in where when in line with the green crash padding and hold it tight to the inside all the way round till the exit. 180 deg bend. - Apparently it is 120/130mph in 6th gear flat out.
What is a corner marker on a bongo?

I like it, I think I know some one with a honda mpv who has one,
looks like a light sabre to me.
Maybe they do one with a red light on? Only joking

We visited a garage in gloucester last year, checking out the Bongos. The parking pole came up in conversation with the Salesman and apparently they are removed by importers/garages when all the other jobs are being done to make the bongo road legal in this country. He said he had loads of them, that he had removed from their imported Bongos. He also said that, those still remaining on some Bongos are generally private or small company importers, who don't bother to remove them. I wonder if some of the older Bongos were made without the parking pole, or it was an optional extra ?

We haven't got one

. Maybe because some Japanese are shorter than Europeans they need the pole when looking through the steering wheel.
