Bat Flattery!

Post by Roberus » Tue Nov 24, 2009 7:26 pm

Typical....Bongo had been starting to play up a bit starting lately with glow lamp light coming back on again once she had started. Thought was to get to the weekend and change battery....today...dead!

Got soaked through taking it out but now on charge (was down to 25% power). Luckily theres a motor factors at the end of the road but could do without the expense! hey ho!

Any thoughts on a good battery?

Sounds as though the battery is not being charged and you have depleated it ....Suspect the Alternator....If you have a multi meter...put it across the battery on the DC20 volt scale and with the engine running you should read around 14.2 volts...

Bummer...don't possess a multimeter. May have to get it checked out properly then! Sounds like even more expense!

Mind you, it does appear to be the original battery so it could be just that I guess....combined with lack of use lately.

Straw...clutch!
