Does the reversing mirror count in the M.O.T test?
Mine has a crack through it. If it's a M.O.T failure, i may take it off before hand.
1: Is it easy to remove?, I think i may have to remove the spoiler first.
2; If i remove it, will it pass then?
Thanks in advance.

MIRRORS
Not all mirrors on all vehicles are subject to Test, depending on the age of the vehicle. Those mirrors which must be checked must be:
• Secure
• Visible from the drivers seat
• Not distorted or damaged so as to seriously impair the drivers view to the rear.
but having said that I wouldn't mind betting that tester doesn't even look back at it !
You pays yer money you take your chance! as they say
cheers! party on dudes.

Reversing mirror isn't part of the MOT - only fitted mirrors that let you look backwards.

Agree - reversing mirror is not a legal requirement or part of the MOT. I seem to recall that the requirement is a minimum of two rear-facing mirrors, so that covers the wing / door mirrors, but I don't think the one on the windscreen is a requirement. We used to have a van at work with no rear windows, so it was never fitted with a mirror on the 'screen.
