Hi Folks
I have a yr 2000 Bongo with factory central locking, the key has an integral "remote" with a triangular grey corner button for lock & a small round black one for unlock....the fob is quite badly damaged (by previous owner), I've looked around the web for possible replacements but to no avail - does anyone know if it is possible to reprogram one of the Madza 626/Ford Ranger 2 & 3 button fobs you see on EvilBay as this is what I had on my 2001 Bongo a couple of years back ?...(went backwards I hear you cry...company car forces sale and all that)
Example fob...[url]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-RANGER-MAZDA ... wt_939/url]
Can anyone help or do I just go down the route of aftermarket central locking?

I don't recall anyone saying they'd managed to get one reprogrammed yet, it comes up quite regularly.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Will try and remeber to have a look on autodata in morning and see if programming instructions are on there for either vehicle.
