not sure if we can get away overnight maybe stop by and watch cardiff thrash blackpool though
by the way its not the original woolpack - the original emmerdale farm was filmed up at arncliffe near us and the woolpack was the falcon hotel - it was only the sugdens farm that was called emmerdale the village was called beckindale. they moved from there to Esholt in 1976 officially because the series was attracting two many tourists to such a small place - which is B*****s the dales made a mint out of re-labelling everything -eg wensleydale cheese as emmerdale cheese (before EU regs)
According to Betty and Pearl, so it must be true, only the guy who played matt didnt mind getting his wellies mucky - eventually Joe saw his own backside after slipping in cow poo and threw a wobbly demanding relocation or he walked -which was a problem as he was one of the main characters.
and dont tell pearl but that Len didnt die in the village hall we saw him the next day in Grassington house with another woman -right best go zack brought a lovely trout home last night but it needs gutting and our charity and our Cain are coming round.
luv Lisa.
