Replacing the steering wheel.

Post by firefitter » Sun Jul 04, 2010 9:03 pm

Hi all.

I was wondering what 'airbag' issues would arise?
Does the new wheel have to have an airbag?
What about the horn? Are aftermarket wheels made to the same design?

Someone must have done it :)
Help would be most appreciated :)

This may help - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 44&t=34086
How old's your airbag? chances are it's out of date as it's usually recommended they're changed at something like 7-10 years old, but most people aren't made aware of this. Personally I'd feel safer without out of date explosives sat a couple of fett in front of my face
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
