Can I stick another battery in???

Post by Ramsey » Sat Jul 31, 2010 9:53 pm

OK, Im pretty good with electrics etc and have 5 screens in my bongo (dont ask!).
I have a spare good battery in my shed and wondered if there was anyway i could stick it in the Bongo to help with the load when stand still?
No idea if/how this could be wired in etc, any help, tips or just a simply "dont be stupid" would be great.

Cheers as ever,

Rams.

Assuming you have a single battery set up, its fairly straightforward to get a leisure battery tray & LB for the passenger side under the bonnet. Then plug in a split charge relay kit (plenty of advice on here if you can do a search) & your uncles name is Robert!!

Can work out pricey but most feel its worth the outlay. Peace of mind & a fully charged starter battery in the morning is money well spent.
