No ignition or sediment lights coming on

Post by the boffin » Thu Aug 05, 2010 8:17 pm

Hi Guys i am new here and wonder if anyone can help, my bongo today had an alternator belt break which resulted in the wiring loom being cut, i have fixed the loom but now when i put the key in the ignition the ignition and sediment lights no not illuminate, the van starts and run ok but i know it is not charging because i have teseted the battery, i was wondering if there was a relay of fuse gone, i have replace the 100 amp and 30 amp fuses which blew and tested all the other fuses i could find, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Are you sure you've connected the small wire that provide the field current & signal back to the charge light (I think), this one may help - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... ator+field
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
