speedo needle stuck and starter motor problem

Post by lc762 » Mon Sep 06, 2010 12:43 pm

just noticed my speedo needle is stuck to the full speed position i.e past the 180 mph point in my case as converted to mph,
i have been having problems lately with the starter motor sometimes it sticks and the ignition light will dim but then after a few trys of turning the key off then on the starter will work and be as good as gold for a few days then it sticks again its getting a bit more of a regular occurance now,so just wondered if the speedo problem may have been caused or connected to my starter motor problem, the question is how to cure both please and the likely cost, many thanks, regards, len
