AFT noisy in wind
When the AFT is up and it is windy the front right hand strap has a tendancy to slap against the upper part of the tent making a very loud buzzing noise. So far only the right hand strap has done this. Last night was very windy and I expect it wasn't just me that had a sleepless night as a result of this. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: AFT noisy in wind
Mine is not noisy but I do try and park rear to the wind to save the strain on the fabric.
Be nice to everyone they might be nice back.

Not had the problem myself, but I know of somebody who has and they ended up lowering the roof to get some sleep
It only seems to happen if the wind is from exactly the wrong direction

Unfortunately the roof area was being used to store all the stuff thats on the floor while travelling. It puzzles me that I've never seen the left hand side strap do that but the right hand side strap has done it a few times. I'm going to clean up and lube the runners because the roof needs a push to lift it the last little bit and I usually do that while standing in the side entrance. I wonder if the right hand side isn't quite up far enough to tension the strap fully.francophile1947 wrote:Not had the problem myself, but I know of somebody who has and they ended up lowering the roof to get some sleepIt only seems to happen if the wind is from exactly the wrong direction
