Diesel pump

Mazda Bongos are produced as both petrol and diesel models. The following information relates to the diesel fuel injection pump, including both the early model mechanical pump and the later model electrical or 'fly-by-wire' pump.
In the members area there's a Factsheet with information on the Diesel Fuel injector pump. This includes advice on how the pump operates and how to change the diesel pump seals.
As a blocked banjo filter/fuel strainer can be mistaken for a problem with the diesel pump itself, there's another Factsheet on how to change the banjo filter/fuel strainer.
