I've just bought a replacement air vent, for the drivers side vent to the right of the stearing wheel. To fit this do I just need to push it into the hole until the tabs engage, or does it need to be installed from the back, eg from under the bonnet somewhere?
thanks

Yes, thanks. This suggests it just pushes in.

Mmmm? Turns out it doesnt push it so easily, looks from the lugs on the vent and the grooves in the housing, that it needs to go in from the rear (so to speak....
). I'd better take a closer look at that schematic

i had a broken centre one which i think is the same.i just opened up the aperature widthways with a broad blade screwdriver and popped it out forwards, reverse to fit the new one.
