Beeping ignition key

Post by gasace » Wed Nov 24, 2010 7:50 pm

Hi everyone, when I leave the ignition key in the accessory position and open one of the front doors there is a loud beeping, Is it possible to stop this. I often leave the key in when we are camping so we can work the blinds from the back, but the noise is annoying
Any help appreciated
Thank John & Kathy

To stop the Key in bleep ,just abover the steering column height lever, under the lower column cowl is a white single connector.

Disconnect that and the bleep will now be no more when the key is in...... Just like that.... :wink:

And here is the picture, just need to press the release clip in and slide it nearly out, then its easy to put back together if you ever need to in the future!;
