Do you mean a remote fob central locking issue or central locking where you put the key into the door?
I think the culprit can be the wires that run between the door hinge and the body of the car. Held in place with a couple of clips and this collection of wires can become broken - could be more brittle by frozen weather?
There is a fuse to check too fuse 4 30 amp drivers side under the steering wheel.

Hi
I think Lewy's right....ours works at minus 20 odd, but as to whether you can open the doors is another matter...it's usually a hair-dryer job!, but the Bongo won't start anyway, as our winter diesel here is ****....
Cheers

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
