Shepton Show this weekend (Jan 9). Any one going? We'll go on Friday, it looks like it will not be snowed in this year.

Won't be attempting it this year Geoff. Circumstances here don't allow at the moment. But what a great time we had last year, didn't we? (And the year before). Hope you manage to pick up some bargains.

We certainly did. I was not expecting you to come along, nor Bob and Lyn, for similar reasons. Hope you feel better soon.

It seems to be all the rage, back trouble. Our son Gary, who we visit in SW France, fell 12 metres off an icy roof just b4 xmas. Luckily his fall was broken, and nothing was broken on him, just pulled muscles and bruises, but it did set off a long standing back injury. They don't do health and safety in France, the scaffolding that broke his fall was not in the right place, but it is surprising there was any at all. On his second day back, he had to ask his boss for a mask, as they were spraying chemicals on to a roof. The other workers just shrugged and got on with it. He's such a trouble-maker, you know.

So glad your son is okay. 12 metres is a long way, even with his fall being broken. Very scary. Hope your new grandson is thriving. Look forward to seeing you and Carol in warmer weather.

The January Shepton Motorhome show was naff this year, only half the size of previous ones, no manufacturers and only a few dealers.

You didn't miss out!
