Do I have a leak?

Post by bongobazza » Mon Jan 17, 2011 2:49 pm

Hello friends!

I am wondering if my Bongo has a small leak on the cooling system. I purchased the 2.5D AFT in September and have already had manys days of fun in it. But ever since I purchased it I have to top the coolant up with about 500ml a month.

Is this general usage or do you guys reckon I have a small leak?

Also, I live near Preston in Lancashire and could do with locating my nearest Bongo friendly garage (just in case). My local garage are very good and fast learners but better to be safe!

I look forward to your replies.

Coolant loss is almost always a leak - the level doesn't drop under normal circumstances, unless you are overfilling it. Mine, and several others, never stays at the full mark and settles about half way between the two, but it doesn't go any lower than that 8)
